An Introduction

First of all, hello! This is my very first blog post and my first time trying to share as I am now. There isn't much content yet but I plan on changing that very soon. The blog will be all about my fictional world, Noram. It is a dark fantasy world that I have been working on for many years. I've built up several physical journals worth of lore and at least ten times as much on my computer. I am very happy to finally be sharing some of it.

I've been writing for several years at this point (and world building for even longer) but I haven't really shared anything online before. Recently, my novel has reached a point that I've decided that it is about time that I actually start talking about it some. That being said, I've also recently been writing short stories and as a matter of fact, just today I received notice in an email that my short story "Shadows of The Past" is being published at http://shortfictionbreak.com/

A depiction of "Sahren Nahkriin" by my brother, Dakota Hammonds.

Short Fiction Break is actually what spurred me to create this blog (thanks, folks!) I've been intending to create my own website for my writings and artwork but it is still in the early conceptual stages. When it is finished, it will house short stories that I am not trying to publish, various concept art, maps, lore, character profiles, et cetera. In the meantime, this blog will house all of those things.

I will start posting artwork, short stories, or lore very soon but first I've got to finish with the design of the blog. At the moment I'm merely using a slightly edited version of one of the templates. Anyway, I believe that I may touch up the map that I've drawn for Noram and showcase it in the next post. If I do, I'll talk about the various countries and their cultures as well as some of the more interesting characteristics of some of the regions.

Oh and for the record, "Chronicles of Noram" is not the name of anything that I am working on. It's simply a name for the blog and possibly my website once it is ready.

Thank you for reading, have a pleasant day and check back soon for more content!
